I am a happy artist. Up until now, I’ve been working on an ancient monitor precariously balanced on a phonebook on my kitchen table so that it’s high enough for me to see it properly. Not exactly ideal working conditions for someone who spends as much time coloring on the darned thing as I do.
Now, however, I am working on a shiny new widescreen monitor, at my new desk in the living room. I have a window to look out while I color, and a monitor that displays the colors a thousand times better than the old one did. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for some time now, but haven’t managed to get around to. I’m really glad I finally did, though. I am soooo incredibly happy with the new setup, even if it did mean summoning up my courage and braving a trip to Ikea. Seriously. When you need a map and50 feet of rope just to get through the store, something has gone horribly wrong.
“You enter a 25,000 square foot room. There are other shoppers milling about, and an orc guarding a che…I mean, a security guard by the door. What do you do?”
“Uhh… Can I roll a Sense Bargain check?”

You’ve inspired me to work an Ikea store into an RPG at some time in the future now. Thank you for that.

Ikea is most likely a firm belonging to Saeder-Krupp, and has such has a zero-zone policy. Beware the deadly security samurais and killer drones that roams among the furniture.

Yay for the right tools for the right job. I love the little IKEA RPG blurb at the end there. Classic. Thanks for the comics and keep up the good work.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I think asides from Ikea, (luckily I ave not had to step in to one of these, the furniture always appears magically at my house) other good stores for RPGs would be: Costco, Fry’s Electronics and Trader Joe’s simply because its a crazy place to shop.
