What is Victoria Day, you ask? It’s an extremely Canadian holiday, celebrated in the early spring. We Canadians celebrate:
1) Queen Victoria’s birthday
2) Surviving another long winter and relishing the chance to enjoy our national parks
3) A rare chance to laugh at the other countries who don’t have the day off. (The Cayman Islanders are with us on this one, I’m sure.)
I plan to spend the day catching up on some sleep, rebuilding my buffer of comics, and enjoying the lovely weather. That is, if it doesn’t rain on me. Those April showers are a tad late this year.
