I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m a huge fan of animation. I took a Classical animation course just out of high school, and I really fell in love with the techniques and art of movement.
I’ve also been in a bit of a steampunk-ish mood lately. I’ve been following a few livejournal Steampunk costuming sites, and I got the chance to play a steampunk character in a recent LARP.
So, when I was shown this gem of a short film, I instantly fell in love. Check it out - if you’re anything like me, you won’t be disappointed!!

I agree, though, on its natural awesomeness. I don’t want to spoil anything, mind you, so I’ll leave it at that.
I’ve recently seen trailers for the movie ‘Igor,’ which also hums on steampunk (Frankensteiny) fun.
Steampunk… hasn’t even started boiling yet, but it’s getting hotter every time I look. This is slowly hitting mainstream…

I saw that a while ago. I’ve been in a steam-punkish mood too. maybe it’s something that’s going around? anyway….this new arc has kinda hit home. I know a guy who’s the same way with MMO’s and new video games. right now he’s obsessing with WoW too…
