Attention Californian Weregeeks!!
I will be at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco this weekend – November 1st & 2nd!! This will be my first con in California, and my first time ever in San Francisco, so if you’re going to be in the area, please come on out and stop by my table!! I’ll have new merchandise available, and I always love hanging out and talking gaming with you guys!
And, speaking of new merchandise… T-shirts are now available for pre-order on the Store page! I got a few test shirts made, and let me tell you, they are fabulous! The shirts are comfy, and the printing is nice and clear. Check out the designs in the Store! And, for those of you who are coming out to APE, you’ll have a special opportunity to get the shirts before anyone else, because I’ll be bringing a small stock of my test run of shirts with me to the con!
Anyway, hope to see you there!

Okay, I just got to say this has become my favorite webcomic of all time. I have read many in the past, and a few currently. But this one is like 5.3-9 kinds of awesome depending on the day. (the lower end (5.3 area) are the stuff that is clever and entertaining but I have no frame of reference. The solid 6-8 point stuff is all the role playing stuff that could have been. While not as complex as the stuff I tried when I was gming…weregeeks shadowrun is so much more fun. Man I wish I had had that back then. And of course the 9 kinds of awesome are when the stuff that I have no frame of reference for (most of the larping) and it becomes 1) funny & 2) make me want to learn more. Anyone (especially those within) can make a genre funny. It takes true skill to make it funny & accessible to outsiders & interesting at the same time.
So anyway I just wanted to say thanks & give you justified praise. While perhpas a little old to be a geek anymore, Its really neat to enjoy their exploits & not feel like a mocker.

Aw, man! ): I’ll be at Steam Powered in Sunnyvale that same weekend, so I won’t be able to go. I totally would otherwise!
Crys Says:
Darn it! Realms of Conflict is this weekend in Boulder Creek, so I won’t be able to make it. Bummer!
Amy S Says:
Well damn. We have prior commitments that whole weekend too. SF is a fun city, though. Make sure you get to Chinatown (Grant Ave for the over-the-top tacky stuff, Stockton for the *real* stuff).

I found this web comic not two weeks ago, and I already love it! Awesome comic!!
Sir Ritalin Says:
Argh! If I’d only stayed in the Bay Area another two weeks! Hope you enjoy your visit to SF.
Othniel Says:
I’ve gotta find a way out there now. Jeph of questionablecontent.net is also going to APE.
Hasson Says:
Will there be a write up, so that those of us in the area that had homework know just how badly we missed out?
