WereGeeks

Hey everyone!!

I know we’ve seen Mark’s shadowy Geek form recently (check last week’s comic!), and that we’ve seen glimpses of everyone else’s here and there, but we’ve never really seen them clearly. And so, I present to you some concept sketches for the rest of the gang. These are not the final designs – I’m still tweaking Abbie and Dustin (especially since Dustin seems to have a weird case of Bubs-feet in this sketch… that’ll teach me to draw the biggest cast member last…) – but they do give you an idea of what everyone will look like.

Look like when, you ask? That’s my cue to chuckle evilly, rub my hands together, and say “Keep Reading….”. :)

I like the concepts–’specially Tron and The Incredible Ewok (I think that’s what Dustin is, anyway). And Abbie looks familiar too; I want to say something from Brackenwood, but I’m not sure? Small complaint: I can’t help but feel like this is kind of undermining the possibility of a big reveal or three. I likes ta be surprised, ya know?

True geeks would trade all other powers for the ability to control dice.

It’s actually somewhat doable, the controlling dice thingy >_>
It takes a lot of practice to even decide what to roll on one d6 but it CAN be done XS (although in polite society (ie. geeks), I think it might be considered cheating ;P)
Btw I really love Abbie’s weregeek form, although I feel like it should be more “clawy”. (there is such a thing as watching too much Whedon, your language might suffer from it)
