The Best Con You May Never Have Heard Of
The Best Con You May Never Have Heard Of

Next weekend (May 22-25), I am going to Missoula, Montana.

Why would I ever do a thing like that, you ask?? Because Missoula is host to one of the Best Conventions You May Never Have Heard Of. Seriously. You gotta check out the guest list. There may be a few people you might have heard of… Like:

– Michael A. Stackpole
– Steven Brust
– CJ Cherryh
– Patricia Briggs
– John Kovalic

Yes, you read that right. John Kovalic, of Dork Tower. I get to meet the guy whose illustrations grace the cards of the Munchkin series and whose books are tomes of classic geekery.

How excited am I? Excited enough to drive the 10 hours from Edmonton to Missoula!! If you have the chance to make it out, I would highly recommend it!! I mean, check out these panels!! How awesome is this gonna be?

Well I will be there and thank god I read your comic, I had not heard of it and I live in Bozeman Mt just 3 hours away from Missoula. This will give me an excuse to go visit my sister anyways, she lives there.

I will be the one in the tinfoil top hat.

Once again, I am jealous. I can never get to any cons, because they’re off-continent.

I won’t be able to make it this year, despite how awesome it looks, and being soo close.

All I can hope is that next year the con is just as great.

Yeah, Missoula can be deceptively cool like that… Of course, being an ex-Missoulian, I may be a bit bias… Now I miss Hoagieville…

    @ Arquinsiel

You have to be quick to beat a wookie. 😉

    @Civilisedwookie + Arquinsiel

It’s not smart to try and beat a Wookie, you might upset them. Noone worries about upsetting a geek, then again geeks don’t pull people’s arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookies are known to do that.
