Weregeek at GenCon!
Weregeek at GenCon!

Geek! Gamers! Roleplayers! Lend me your ears!!

It is time once again for that great gathering of gaming, GenCon!! I have long heard tell of the amazement held in this convention’s lofty halls, and I finally have the chance to experience it first hand!

That’s right – Weregeek will be at GenCon Indy this year! We’re in the Author’s Alley, at table L. There will be the usual assortment of geeking merchandise, from t-shirts to magnets, and most especially, copies of Book 1. Come look for us there! And, since I know most of you will be overwhelmed by the vast amount of geek swag for sale at the con, (since I know I will be!) here’s a map that should make it easier to find us in the middle of the crowds! Drop by and chat gaming with me – I look forward to seeing you guys there!!!

I never make GenCon, but try to check out Seadog Studios. Tell them I sent you and they’ll roll their eyes and groan.

psst, i dunno if this would appeal…but to geeks and geek-friends in the MA USA area, i thought this would be worth sharing.

it’s a gaming store, but not REALLY a gaming store. Worlds Apart has actually registered as a community center. so it’s a non-profit gaming community center in amherst MA 😀 a true safehaven for geeks and budding geeks!

i just thought it’d be relevent to fellow geeks’ interests, and worth a little promoting. i don’t know if it’s interesting enough to promote, but i just discovered it, and everyone there is REALLY friendly and cool. they even have the old West End Games star wars RP suppliment guides there!

Worlds Apart is a trap set by the hunters to capture geeks. You’ll never be seen again if you go.

It was awesome to meet you finally! I feel ashamed that I missed you were going and was lucky enough to catch sight of the WereGeek sign from afar. I hope you had a chance to check out the BountyHead Bebop game I gave you the adventure for. I gather con was good to you?

On the upside, got my copy of weregeek today, with a sketch of Abbie (didn’t write what I wanted, cause I wanted a surprise), looks really cool, thank you!

Awesome comic! I managed to get a friend of mine into it. I sent the link to him on a day where he was supposed to get a lot of work done online. Instead, he blows it off to get caught up here. It’s another webcomic to add to his growing obsession!

Oh, and in Something Positive by Randy Milholland, one of the characters really DID start a Geek Escort Service of sorts!

Hail, Admiral! The better half of my local safe-haven’s owners loved the earrings. I’m working up one of the other locals to get the Flanking shirt, since he runs a 4e Gnoll ranger w/pet in one of the current in-shop games.
