Back from the Emerald City!
Back from the Emerald City!

I know that the Emerald City Comic Expo was last weekend, but Layne and I spent a little time vacationing in Washington, and so just got back home. I don’t know where to start explaining just how awesome a convention it was… But hopefully I’ll figure it out soon and get a con report posted up here!!

In the meantime, now that I’m back at home, the comic will once again return to being in color. (Oh, how I missed my Wacom tablet!!!) Expect the black and white versions of last week’s comics to be replaced by their more colorful counterparts sometime in the next day or so. Thanks for being so great about the greyscale strips, folks! You guys are the best!

I should also mention that the pre-orders for Book 2 are now officially over. Both the regular edition and the Artist’s Edition of the book are now available in the store, and I’ll be getting the pre-ordered books shipped this week!

Well, I found the black and white parts kind of cool, because Mark was trapped in a dark cellar or something, and so he had to rely on his orkish darkvision, which is only black and white…
For me the missing color made kind of sense đŸ˜‰

More to the point – no texting during timed games.

Texting during a game would get on my nerves, for sure.

Even more annoying was the time I was playing with a new group, and the guy next to me was on his laptop playing some other game rather than paying attention to what we were trying to do.

I was tempted to hit him with the comicbook I was reading….

You _do_ realise your “reading comicbook” is basicly should be treated the same as playing on laptop, if all others of the whole group were… you know…. playing table RPG…

anyway, i second that thing about Black & White and Darkvision. It’s sure was… appropriate and strangly apposite ^_^
