Commission Sale
Commission Sale

Today’s sketch is actually a piece that someone commissioned from me a few weeks ago, of two of the characters from Sandman. (You may remember me tweeting how I’d never inked so many spot blacks before in my life!)

I’ve posted a commission up here instead of a sketch to whet your appetites – it’s commission sale time again soon!

I’ll be posting more details on pricing and options over the next week, but for now, I just wanted to let you know some dates. I will begin accepting commission orders on November 7th, and will be doing the sketches live via Ustream the following week. As with previous commission sales, you won’t need to watch me on Ustream to receive your drawing, but it is a fun chance to hang out and watch as I ink some art, so I’d recommend stopping by if you can. 🙂

Anyway, more details to come over the next week. Watch my twitter feed and here on the blog for more details, and enjoy your Friday!

My goodness, after several days of reading Weregeek during ALL of my free time, I finally got through it all. So awesome. SO. Awesome. Thanks for supplying the perfect geek webcomic for me! You have a new avid reader. Also, great ink job!

That looks absolutely peachy keen! *fanboy squee!*

What a way to whet our appetites indeed. I think I may just have to order another commission, once I think of something suitably awesome.

OH MY GOD. I totally need to get myself a commissioned sketch just like that one only with Abbie as a perky Death and Joel as the Sandman glaring at her.

I actually got to meet Neil Gaiman. He came and spoke at the college I attended. A few of my friends got to have dinner with him. He is a real nice guy and highly creative. I have a ton of signed copies of his books.

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!* Commissions! What should I get?! Something Pony-verse-related? My shadowgeek form? One of the silly parody ideas from my list? So many possibilities!

This looks… VERY similar to the art style used by Dary of the Phantasia webserial. Hybrid novel/comic, but most of it is novel format. Rewritten, like, 5 times now, though.
