Weregeeks, meet werewolf.

This was a commission I did last year, and it’s still one of my favorites. It’s nothing particularly new – people draw scruffy-looking wolfmen all the time, I’m sure. But *I* was particularly pleased to have the chance to draw a classic movie monster with a bit of a modern twist. Werewolves, whatever the shape, are Fun Fun Fun to draw!

And, speaking of commissions… Those of you still thinking of buying a commission from me during this sale will have until Wednesday, November 16th to get your orders in. I’m tentatively going to say that the commissions will be drawn live on Friday, Nov. 18, though if I receive enough commissions I may push that back a day and draw both Thursday and Friday. More info on the Ustream schedule will be posted next week!

Yay, commissions! However -now the wondering starts: if we sent you an email about a large-group commission, how long should we wait before deciding it went into the spam bin and trying again from a different address?

I’m new to comics and the whole following artists thing and such – just a question for anyone. What are you ordering / commissioning?

I’m commissioning my all-time favorite D&D character, a gestalt Dread Necromancer//Dungeoncrasher Fighter/Occult Slayer. He really worked in the campaign and allowed for a certain playfulness while Rosencrantz and Guildenstern did their thievery things.

Pretty much any type of character portrait you want…Last year I got her to do my gf’s first D&D character (Dwarf Barbarian Bear Warrior) for her birthday! Definitely worth the money.

A more physiologically probable wolfish transformation, to be sure. Much more metabolically feasible. *nerd*

*Charline de Lyon bursts in, bashes the nerd over the head and drags him away!* Enough of your jabbering! I can’t wait to see the picture commissioned of me in my evil Shadow form! The Hunters are DOOMED!!! MUWAH HA HA HA HA!! >:3

Cass, I would send the email again, or at least a reminder… webcomic artists get a lot of emails, and things can get buried.

About 18 months ago, I introduced my then eight-year old son and some of his friends to D&D. Every since we have been having a monthly adventure party with three of his friends, two other dads and one mom.

Robert’s character is a Dragonborn Paladin. If I sent you a photo, do you think you could do a single character sketch of him as a Db-P?
