The scan quality on this is a little off because this was actually a sketch I did in the back of a friend’s book. He’s a big fan of wolves, and saw some of the tribal-esque sketches I was playing around with in my sketchbook. I was mostly drawing raccoons and birds, but the style adapted itself nicely to a wolf-flying-across-a-moon. I need to play around with this style a little more, methinks!

IainD Says:
Dunno your relationship to Medicine Cards or Tarot; but a set of cards in this style could be VERY interesting. I’ve never seen any cards in a style remotely like this…
Could also be a regular deck of cards with each suit represented by mammals; birds; reptiles; plants…
Jo Says:
Ooohh… a friend of mine adores wolves!
Would you mind if she used it on her website? (http://schamanca.de)
(Proper source naming etc. asserted, of course)
FSilvermane Says:
Yes,…add this to the portfolio. I know a few people who would love such a design for a tattoo.
Eqifelin Says:
This is gorgeous. I love your sketches almost as much as the regular comic
Ephraim Says:
YES! More wolves please! I love them!
egon Says:
Like the head, the tail and paws, but torso and upper legs are totally mixed up in style with these.
DarkMyste Says:
Love it so much it really brings out the tribal esq look to it, if i would get a tattoo it would be one of these drawings.
Nastysasquatch Says:
had to comment on the comic for the 25th.
Joel says something about CCG tournaments on sports networks. ESPN tried airing MTG tournaments briefly on ESPN2. It didn’t work out. You also probably already know this.
And the tattoo design looks sweet.
