This is a sketch that I did during a long-ago Dragonlance game. Our characters had found themselves in some sort of great calamity (which was a frequent occurrence), and were whisked away seconds before they were to be overwhelmed by some gryphon-riders. The flavor text for this little bit of the adventure was quite nice, and so I doodled it down, and later scanned it in and added some shading to it because I was quite fond of the drawing.
I eventually had to leave that particular campaign when I moved to Edmonton, but they carried on without me – right to the bitter end of the story. It took several years and numerous changes of players, but our DM persevered and ran ALL of the Dragonlance modules. I tip my hat to you, sir! That is a LOT of modules!
