It may make things less ‘boomy’ but the lightning could be put to good use, especially in the hands of a mad tinkerer…or Madboys/Madgirls.

Just use Magnesium bombs. Less boomy, but more ouchie.

Sorry KenderBryant, Seattle has the non-lightning sort of rain. I’ve only even heard thunder maybe twice a year since I moved here.

C-4 is waterproof,…. heck there are explosives that require water to explode [think its a segregated chemical that separate is inert but when mixed becomes extremely volatile when wet] ,..take it from a Pirate Renenactor, there are ALWAYS ways to make Boom regardless of Mother Nature [personally I have waxpaper cartridges especially for wet weather]

@Alice: Awww, where’s the fun in that? On the other hand, little to no power surges to screw up internet/computers/etc.

Totally feel for twitch, tho thankfully my gm hasn’t had it rain in Seattle once. Maybe my characters have their AR settings messed up, they do all have image link except for the technomancer who just almost lives in VR. I think something is wrong with our seattle hehe

Interestingly… explosions SOUND more boomy when it’s overcast. The low cloud ceiling bounces the sound back down to the ground. Explosive Ordinance Teams have to wait to get rid of explosives till there is a clearish day or they will blow out windows miles away…
