The question is, is that Dustin’s chicken hat, or did Abbie bring it with her?

Oh, Abbie, you’re an art major, and Sarah’s a lit major. In our current (and utterly broken) system, neither of those majors are valued or respected.

I feel her pain. At nearly 40, I still don’t know how to adult.

Duh, Sarah. Combine your literary degree with your love of gaming and write a book/series about a gamer. You could even get Abbie’s help with cover design. OR you could work with the others and create a game world.

Meh, being an adult is highly over-rated.

I wasn’t a literary major, but I was a liberal arts major, with a journalism minor. I was employed immediately after graduation at the place I was an intern at (a newspaper). Sarah’s right to go back to school and get an internship while she’s there. What she needs to do is build up a client list and do freelance writing. It’s hectic sometimes but I get to work from my couch.

No, no, Alina–the question is, where can *I* get a chicken hat like that?

I think Abbie made the hat 5 mins ago. As to the majors? Those majors might be nice to have, but not without something like graphics artist or advertising to put them to work.

If only this system were as easily overhauled as D&D was… Not that that was actually easy.

Being adult doesn’t imply to lose the connection to your childhood.
There are a lot of adult childs around, but they usualy end up in arkham.

Hmm… a liturgist and an artist both need an income stream? Webcomic within a webcomic?

Internship is a good idea. Often helps to get a foot in the door at a company. And even if not, you do get some working experience which in turn makes your résumé look better.
