So what was it that you’ve never drawn before? The train?

(You’ve definitely done crowds before, and the bits of larp costume are completely run-of-the-mill.)

So excited for the new chapter!

Martin…Martin, Martin…this comic is free. I may be misreading your tone, and if I am I offer apologies, but if Alina says she wants a week off to eat ice cream, then we as readers have no place to snark off about it because the comic is free. This page looks amazing. I’d rather have an Amazon page that oil a day longer than a thrown together piece that has no love in it. Artists who don’t feel loved or appreciated can quickly give up their art, and when it is able to be enjoyed for FREE, we as the audience should accept every page as a gift.

Now, the argument of Patreon has come into my head. Yes, there are people who do financially support their webcomics artists. That by no means gives anyone the right to be a critic, a snark, a boss, or a creative director to these wonderfully talented people. I promise they aren’t getting paid what they deserve. So, lecture delivered and hopes are still high that I jumped to conclusions.

Tl;dr: comic rocks, don be a downer.

@Hogran No, no… something’s really is weird here…the train! We’ve never seen the geeks take it before! THAT must be why people think they’re weird. Yup.

Oh, man… I didn’t even register that there was anything weird until it was explicitly pointed out. I understood both of them on a personal level so it didn’t even… haha. What’s normal to one can be insanity to pretty much everyone else, I guess.

Yeah, I found this conversation completely normal. Until I took a mental step back and tried to look at it from an outsiders perspective. Then I understood.

Of course I’m also the kind of guy who once simply tied my larp shield to my backpack, shoving my sheathed sword in between the two for carrying when traveling a few hundred kilometres by train to a larp. Some of the looks I got, mainly while waiting on a connecting train, were quite interesting. 😀

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one that hears their characters in their head. 🙂

  13. Weird is relative. Some of us are just much better at it than others.

Ahahahahaha I am so blessed to live near Portland Oregon, the weirdest city in the USA!! I might get an odd look or two for getting on the, train in costume, but most people take it in stride or even ask questions… Or geek out with me. I live in what seems to be geek holy land.

@Sniperkitten313 Yikes! No, no, no. There was no snarking intended – I was just curious.

No apologies needed btw – you alerted me that not only might you think I was snarking (I don’t care much), but so might Alina (and that I *do* care about).

I want to know what the new thing was too. @Martin Bonner – I think someone would have to be ultra sensitive to have taken your first post badly.
