Who to trust?

…Your Motley. You can totally trust your Motley.*

At least that’s predictable – you can ALWAYS trust your Motley to do ridiculous things. Always. Without fail.

…Poor Woe though. Torn between Court and Freehold. At least she was smart enough NOT to pledge herself to the King’s task. Go Sarah!

Pretty sure the whole point of a motley is to do ridiculous things. Like maybe join together to be superheroes or villains, you know depending on your mood.

Oh my… now you gotta keep an eye on the others and plot the overthrow of the winter king. I hate it when you unexpectedly get big tasks added to your load.

Heroes, villains… They’re the ones with the Abbie.

Not being very familiar with Changeling, I have to ask: how binding is it to pledge oneself to a task? I imagine their pseudo-fey nature makes them susceptible to a lot of the same rules…

Oaths are important with the Fae (I’m not as familiar with Changling, but as it is based on the legends of the fair folk….) there can be very serious consequences to breaking a pledge. At the same time, a carefully worded pledge can be kept in a situation like this. Best policy is to promise to protect the Freehold, rather than commit to the King’s specific task.
