…Otyughs smell, owlbear laid an egg!
Yeah, the Grells might need some help XD
Do owlbears lay eggs?
He’s starting to smile a bit too much like a Jaeger for that party’s health!
I don’t think it’s hard to figure out this Christmas parody
If you don’t know this Christmas song for this comic is “Jingle Bells”, you need to take a year off of any kind of role-playing.
…what fun it is to fight and sing a SLAYING song tonight, ooooooh…
Point of contention: Those are Gricks, not Grells.
Got the parody, missed the beaks at first. I thought Mark was killing things with two dozen roses…
How is he avoiding the poison in the tentacles?
The scansion does not work. What about “In a barbaric waaaay!”?
“All I want for Christmas is my next level …”
@ArthurRex12 No, those are Grells, Gricks have a serpentine body with a tentacled wreathed beak.
@ArthurRex12 Those are definitely Grell.
A Grell is a levitating creature with a body like a giant olive-colored exposed brain the size of a human and with a frontal beak, below which trails ten long pale olive-green tentacles – so the colour is different.
The small spines that carry the venom to the poison that is injected so can be avoided by incapacitating the Grell. Bludgeoning works wonders in that regard.
Gricks are an octopus with a worm like body replacing the mantle and the tentacles ending in barbs. They blend into the stonework to ambush prey. Wonder if they can be trained as grappling hooks?
Grick aka The Goblin King is a delusional divine caster who panders to Avarice, Gamblers, Drunkards and aberrants.

It is not per the description at

@Gene Wirchenko: He isn’t. Strong Fort save, plus CON bonus while raging.
Poor Grells they are an endangered monster! 🙂
Surely Rudolph the Owlbear would have a red beak.
Thank you, Dean.
