Perhaps some vents could be disguised as deep old battlescars?

Or he could have a pocket to put cold blocks from the freezer in pre-game…

A cosplay of that size can probably have a cooling system incorporated into it. Even if it’s just an ice pack vest.

Most dedication I’ve seen at a LARP was when the Lost Autumn King threw a harvest feast for the coronation of the Winter Queen. There was a turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, even a pumpkin cheesecake… and the Moon Court guy (Court of Disgust) ate all of it with his hands (yes, even the gravy). The moment the food was done he was whimpering and racing toward a sink to wash.

Yeah, due to furries, full-costume LARPing, and the like there’s been lots of improvements in costume cooling systems. Not *cheap* mind you, but you’d be surprised what you can pick up. Ice vests run about $30 or so, but powered cooling shirts start at about $200 and go up from there.

Abby, you do know that there are people on the internet who will pay for these costumes and outfits, right?

Sweaty and stinky is one thing, but if he’s this hot after a few minutes standing around he may end up needing medical care for heatstroke.

It does seem like with such a bulky costume it would be possible to put in a lot of venting.
