Another case where my often-wished-for portable shower would be useful.
(Imagine a portable shower complete with water.)

Heh… Yeah… I have a golem larp costume… mine’s reasonably ventilated, but I still smell like week-dead yeti after wearing it for a few hours.

@Gene Wirchenko Get a camp shower. Just fill the bladder with water, set it up in a place with a drain (or out in nature somewhere; it is a camp shower, after all), and take your shower.

okay, get two stick of deodorant
remove from dispenser
ductape to undersides of armpits
@jolt583
That would work if it was *just* his underarms.
Maybe gel the deodorant and paint it on his body, like woad?

Cannot see someone doing a LARP costumed like Dustin here in Brazil – some places are too hot if there’s no air conditioning.
And everyone here tend to bathe daily (even gamers!), so the chance of the “pestilence miasma” is lessened.
Either that, Konnash, or the miasma builds up very fast. As someone who sweats very easily, I watch (sniff?) for this.

I knew a guy in High school who could walk out of the shower, get dressed in clean clothes and five minutes later, stinky sweat. He was the only person I knew who showered both before and after gym.

To assist with maintaining propper body temperature but remain relatively dry – I have found that polypropylene skivies work wonders – there even is/was a brand with silvered threads that did help fight the buildup of the stuff of nightmares and abattoirs.
