So from the lack of stink lines and sweat drops on him now, I’m guessing Dustin has run home and showered and returned while people were lingering and RPing?

Also it would be kind of cool if this leads to a story with Dustin helping Jim with the changeling game some in the future, especially considering how he got treated in the vampire game.

I totally read Jim’s last word as thea-AY-ter in my head before I saw the hidden text!

Whereas I’m hoping this is leading to Dustin realizing that GMs are human too and sometimes need to make call to which there are no easy answers. Leading to an understanding and reconciliation with the Vampire GM. :p

OR, there’s a shower there. Is it a theatre or a hall?

As a thee-AY-ter nerd, I greatly appreciate the connection drawn between LARP and actual theatre. I’ve felt so happy connecting with these other people that exist inside my head when I play Vampire, or D&D, or Fate Core or any other gaming system ever. It’s cathartic, and has taught me so much about myself through the process. <3

Actually running the game is not tiring at all. It’l like doing drugs – you feel bad only after they wear off

Inevitably my answer always was “because then no one else could have fun, either”.

@Smirnoffico – All to true – it is the crash at the end plus the cleanup and then the drive home to pack it all away. Only after the shower and some food does the mind start thinking up shenanigans for next time. The cycle begins anew. In all things symmetry.

There’s an old joke about the person complaining about his job sweeping up after the elephant in the circus. The punchline’s the same.

This forced me to post my first comment here.
