  2. Gareth Hughes Says:

“An army of Yuan-Ti Army” should be A Yuan-ti army or an army of Yuan-ti

Great comic as always. So true, you always have the chronicler of the group.

  3. Sigmoid Says:

Well not to burst a bubble here, but Dragon Ball Z contained only trace amounts of plot to begin with, let alone any “twists”… ;))

Only 93 of those episodes count, though. The rest are just filler.

When last we left our heroes!

Is that a Matt Colville nod or does everyone use that phrase and I just learnt it from him?

Hmm, the new Pockyless Abbie seems remarkably efficient 🙂

  9. Clark Says:

Abbie’s right…it’s almost like remember the plot of every episode of TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY, not to mention the movies. After that, details for games and campaigns are not problem 😉

Though try DMing about three dozen different game systems and running a dozen of them at once, including 2 D&D 2nd edition, 4 3.5 edition, 1 4th edition and 4 5th edition campaigns at once O_O. Especially when some of your players make same or very similar characters (and recycle names) in each campaign! Keeping that straight gets hard!

  10. Kaunisenkeli Says:

Plot twists in DBZ? What? Do you count it as a twist if a character only spends 20 minutes screaming to “power up” as opposed to 30?

  11. Clark is right. I am playing a D&D wizard in one campaign. I like playing wizards. I decided to try something else — a bard — and it has been surprisingly difficult to adapt. An interesting rut that I did not know that I was in. I do plan to play more non-wizards.

He thought about The Game and thus loses The Game.
Now you’ve just lost The Game too.

A well-integrated recap, nicely done! Also:

When last we left our heroes!

That was standard on Rocky & Bullwinkle back in the 60s, and was sending up the movie serials of the 30s-50s.
