  1. Clark Says:

Clearly the Sorceress has a plan and some defences in place…

…And then it backfires and Mark scores a critical hit and maximum damage.

That’s an awfully generous alternative to ‘kill the paladin!”

Mind-influencing spells on a raging barbarian – always fun for the GM!
    I prefer confusion though.

  6. Feels more like a Suggestion than a Command, but I suppose if Joe wants to set a precedent that Command can be a single phrase, rather than a single word, who are the players to argue?

Why would a spellcaster ever want a high-DPS melee character within reach?

In the words of the great Leonard Snart:

“Make the plan. Execute the plan. Expect the plan to go off the rails….Throw away the plan.”

….especially when part of your team is a berserker…

I didn’t think Mark could hurt the Wraiths?
If that Sorceress doesn’t have some barriers or traps in place, she is going to be in a bit of trouble when Abby appears behind her, when Mark is in front.

  11. Kat Says:

Never neglect your Will save. or your Fort save. You can kinda neglect your Reflex save, unless you have Evasion. I mean, if you’re a Wizard, half damage probably kills you anyway. If you’re a fighter, you’ll survive the full damage. If you’re a cleric, you can’t fuss, you already have two good saves. This all of course, only applies in Pathfinder.

I leave you 5E stat save people to your own strategies.

  12. Drgnhawk Says:

People keep saying the sorceress will be in trouble when Mark gets within reach, but I think that’s the trick…Mark isn’t within reach. He has to cross most of the throne room to get within reach, and in the meantime he “can’t” attack anything else.

Not to mention that there are a lot of venomous snakes in that pile of bodies he’s about to run through. Shadow adders, wasn’t it?

Extra Specially not mentioning (in front of the GM) the possibility that all those bodies could become more undead before Mark gets past them.
