  2. I game in a group of usually five. All but one of us have run RPGs, some more than others. It gives a nice flexibility when one GM is stuck or ill. It also lets things end.

Like the above. Who will be GMing the next campaign in Weregeek?

As the most frequent GM of my local gaming group, Can I say that GMs don’t get enough hugs at the end of satisfying campaigns?

Cannot wait to see what Abby has in mind next for a character.

Always hug your DM/GM/ST, or at least, show proper appreciation.

  6. I wouldn’t assume we’ve seen the last of this campaign! After all, they just picked a new adventuring direction, and made sure Mark’s PC could get raised! But when you hit a high point like this, it’s often to let a campaign take a break for a while and play something else.

When it comes to a campaign break my old group would go for “something completely different” for a story arc.

My suggestions for a diversion are, in no particular order, Paranoia, moron … errrr …. The Morrow Project, Avalon Hill’s 007, Traveller [any flavour though old school has the highest body count], Lords of Creation, Call of Candle Jack …. okay okay …. my group is way more “eccentric” with a much lower sense of character self preservation, as well as most games being infected by TOON in some way.
