We’re back!!
We’re back!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a great Passover/Easter weekend, and are staying safe inside wherever you are.

I’m finally feeling like myself again, and managed to get some drawing done over the past few days. It was weird picking up my pencil again after such a long break, but thankfully, I didn’t forget how to draw while I was sick. (always a worry :p ) It feels good to be back, and I think that regular updates shouldn’t be a problem. Thanks so much for the understanding and support while I was sick.

Welcome back! We’re happy you’re feeling better! And not just because it means we get more Weregeek!

But if you do need to take some time to rest and be healthy, take some time to rest and be healthy. We’ll wait.

Good to see your back. All the characters should have to join the dance according to the 20 I rolled on my barbarian diplomacy die (nineteen ones and one twenty).

Good to see you well. on to the comic. I think Joel is waiting for the adventure to start. What he doesn’t know is that goblin burlesque is the adventure.

I’m not a fan of persuasion checks on PCs

Sorry, social skills can’t compel PC’s to do anything. If you want that you have to convince the player yourself.

Both not a fan of players using skills on each other, and players doing other things then play the game. If your phone is more important then the game, then please leave.

I have a feeling why Joel is on his phone is because of a certain person who is going through some issues.

Mm. Never been a fan of DMs allowing persuasion/etc against PCs to compel their actions. It’s a form of PvP, really, and that is generally something I prefer to avoid without VERY good reason.

Poor Joel. Even if his view was wrong he started this session off by being attacked about his old school views of the game. One of his friends is going through emotional hell after punching someone and everyone is ignoring it. Even Abby said as far as she knows he doesn’t have anything going on in his life. It sounds like his life has quite a bit of emotional turmoil to me and that’s just the part we can see.

@ TheDarkTyger – You are correct in your observation that this would be PvP but not as a battle of dice [frowned on by most if not all] but adjudicated by the players themselves based on their characters personalities and motivations [and the players skills of persuasion] with the GM acting as referee to facilitate the interaction.
    [cue Pepe LePew being persuasive]
