More early sketches

These sketches were drawn about the same time as last week’s sketches – shortly before the comic began running in ’06. (Holy crap has it been that long already?!) I’d been playing around with Joel’s hair, trying to figure out what I was going to do with his bangs, and I think I pushed a little too far… On the other hand, Dustin hasn’t changed much, and is that an early version of Victor? Nice striped sweater, dude. (Actually, I think it’s supposed to be a strange black band atop a fishnet shirt. Not really sure what that was all about! Glad I settled on Victorian-goth for him – it suits his long hair better.)
